In Australia, in the State Library of New South Wales, there is another copy of the journal of Abel Tasman, the so-called Huydecoper Copy. It does not contain the illustration of the ‘Murderer’s Bay’ or any other illustrations. It does contain some coastal views and a map of the New Zealand coastline (showing an openening at ‘Cook Strait’ in contrast to the map in the State Archives Copy!). The journal can be viewed online here. In Autralië, in de State Library van New South Wales, bevindt zich nog een kopie van het journaal van Abel Tasma, de zogenaamde Huydecoper Kopie. Deze bevat geen illustratie van de ‘Moordenaarsbaai’ en andere illustraties. Er zitten echter wel een aantal kustprofielen in en een kaart van de Nieuwzeelandse kunstlijn (die een opening laat zien op de plaats van de ‘Cook Strait’ in tegenstellinmg tot de kaart in de Nationaal Archief Kopie!). Het journaal kan hier online bekeken worden.
